Rick generally had healthy teeth, but he was suffering from a 'lip tie.' Lip tie occurs when parts of the lip connect too closely to the gums. This can cause tension on the gums and make them recede! If not corrected, this problem leads to painful, irritated gums, sensitive teeth, and even loose teeth in severe cases. Chad was pleasantly surprised that we could treat this problem right here in our office without referring him to a specialist! Now his gum sensitivity is gone and they no longer bleed!
